Protecting Children

The Jesuits and employees of the Jesuits USA Central and Southern Province of the Society of Jesus are committed to the personal care of all individuals, especially the young and those who are emotionally, physically, or intellectually challenged.

If you believe that you, or someone you know, has been abused by a Jesuit, you are urged to advise the Jesuits by calling Carol Zarinelli Brescia, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, at (314) 361-7765 or using her confidential e-mail address: ucsoutreach@jesuits.org

You are also advised to contact the appropriate law enforcement or child-protection agency in the location in which the incident took place.

The Province is fully accredited by Praesidium, Inc, an organization providing consultation, risk management assessment, policy development, and training materials for use in preventing sexual misconduct and responding to allegations of sexual misconduct. The Province maintains Praesidium Accreditation through periodic audits by Praesidium's independent auditors.
