Spring Breakfast

Join Jesuit Friends and Alumni Network of Kansas City for its first speaker event of 2019.

Who: David Laughlin, president, Rockhurst High School, Kansas City, Mo. 

What: Jesuit Educated and Ignatian Formed: Imagine the Difference We Could Make

When: Thursday, March 7, 2019, 7-8:30 a.m.

Where: Hawklets Center at Rockhurst High School, 9301 State Line Road, Kansas City, Mo., 64114. Park near Dasta Stadium on the east side of campus. 

The talk will highlight the purpose of Jesuit education and Ignatian formation as a call to leadership and the foundational concepts and strategies used by Jesuits for centuries and today to engage and encounter the world.

David Laughlin was installed as the 17th and first lay president of Rockhurst High School, on Aug. 29, 2018. An alumnus Creighton University, Omaha, Neb., he has served in Jesuit education since 1990. 

The event includes a breakfast buffet, time for networking, Laughlin's presentation and a Q&A. The program will conclude promptly at 8:30 a.m.
