Jesuit Family Responds to Crisis in Myanmar

American Jesuits International (AJI) has launched an emergency campaign in response to the plight of the people in Myanmar.

Typhoon Yagi has brought widespread destruction to Southeast Asia, leaving hundreds dead and displacing thousands. American Jesuits International is responding through an emergency fundraising campaign to assist our partners and the Jesuits in Myanmar who are offering critical relief and ongoing recovery.

In Myanmar, the situation is especially dire, with over 630,000 people affected. Our Jesuit partners are delivering vital aid to those most in need, including food, shelter, and educational support for displaced families. The Jesuits are also working tirelessly to offer educational support for children who have been displaced and otherwise lack access to schooling. In the wake of this disaster, our Jesuit partners will remain committed to supporting the nation’s recovery and rebuilding efforts.

Your generosity can make a difference. Together, we can support the relief and recovery efforts in Myanmar, providing emergency aid, shelter, and hope to over 15,000 vulnerable people.

Donate now to help communities in need recover from this devastating storm.
