Biography:
Father Chris Kellerman, SJ, currently serves in the Office of Justice and Ecology of the Jesuits USA Central and Southern Province and in pastoral ministry at Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas. He entered the Society of Jesus in 2011 and was ordained to the priesthood in 2021. Father Kellerman also served as visiting fellow and interim director at the Jesuit Social Research Institute at Loyola University New Orleans. There, he engaged in research, education and advocacy on issues related to racial justice, environmental justice and political polarization.
Father Kellerman speaks on Church history, especially as it pertains to slavery and abolitionism, as well as on Catholic racial justice and how to approach the polarization between Church and State in the United States.
