Biography:
Father Joseph Laramie, SJ, is the director of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network, USA. The St. Louis native entered the Society of Jesus in 2000. Since then, his formation and ministry have taken him all over the US and beyond. He was ordained a priest in 2011. In the last two decades he has served as a campus minister at his alma mater, Saint Louis University, ministered to persons who are homeless in Minnesota and Oregon and as a hospital chaplain in Chicago. He served as pastoral director at Rockhurst High School in Kansas City, Mo., preached at White House Jesuit Retreat in St. Louis, taught at Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, Colo., and worked at the Jesuit mission for Mayan villages in Belize. He has written about and spoken on a wide range of topics for publications and media outlets including EWTN, America Magazine, Busted Halo, and Leah Darrow’s Lux U.
