Biography
Father Michael Williams, SJ, entered the Society of Jesus in 1962. The Philadelphia native has been a Jesuit for 60 years and has served for many of those in the Jesuits USA Central and Southern (UCS) Province.
He is currently professor emeritus at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Ala., where he taught English from 1986 to 2018.
His prior assignment was at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash., where he was a professor, associate dean and assistant dean of the College of Arts & Sciences.
Father Williams followed God’s call into the Society of Jesus shortly after graduating from St. Joseph’s College Preparatory School in Philadelphia.
