During this season of Lent, we are called to the practices of prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Below are Lenten prayer resources in the tradition of Ignatian spirituality. Check back frequently as new resources will be added as they are published.
Many Migrants' Journeys Mirror Christ's Journey to the Cross
Reenacting the Stations of the Cross during Lent is an ancient and powerful way to contemplate and enter into Christ’s passion and death. We created a guide for individual prayer through the Stations of the Cross to invite you to consider how many migrants’ challenges mirror Christ’s own journey to the cross.
We invited members of our province and others who work with immigrants and asylum-seekers on the U.S.-Mexico border and beyond to tell the stories of real people who have dealt with challenges and pain that reflect the suffering of our Lord.
This feature from our Winter 2025 Jesuits magazine issue is available as a downloadable PDF for your prayer this Lent in both English and Spanish.
