Happy St. Ignatius Day!

July 31, 2025

Every July 31, we commemorate the life and spiritual legacy of St. Ignatius Loyola, a founding father of the Society of Jesus. His Spiritual Exercises and the religious order he founded continue to impact the Church and the world today.

In this Feast Day video, Father J. Patrick Hough, SJ, reminds us of the importance of discerning and responding to God’s call in our lives, even in unexpected places, for God’s Greater Glory. Father Hough is the director of retreat ministry at Grand Coteau Retreats and the executive director of advancement for the Jesuits USA Central and Southern Province.

St. Ignatius Loyola, our holy founder, pilgrim of great desires and perfect humility, pray for us, your spiritual descendants.
