Giving Tuesday 2023

In Gratitude for our Senior Jesuits

Friends of the Jesuits USA Central and Southern (UCS) Province will support the care of senior Jesuits when they donate to the province on Giving Tuesday this year.

Giving Tuesday is the designation for the Tuesday immediately following Thanksgiving. It is recognized as one of the most generous giving days for nonprofit organizations across the United States. This year, Giving Tuesday falls on November 28. All donations made on Nov. 28, 2023, will go to support senior Jesuits in the UCS Province.

When Jesuits reach the end of active ministry, they typically reside in Jesuit communities that provide a home, and when needed, skilled nursing care. Here in the UCS Province, most of the senior Jesuits live at St. Ignatius Hall in Florissant, Missouri, a new community that was built specifically to meet the needs of senior Jesuits.

The province built this community with the help of generous donors who care for our Jesuits and are grateful for their years of service to God and God’s people.

It is our privilege and our responsibility to care for our senior brothers. We believe they deserve to live in a safe, comfortable home, surrounded by their Jesuit brothers. The cost, however, is significant.

If your life has been impacted by a Jesuit, please consider contributing to support our senior men this year.

You can donate online below or send a check to Jesuits USA Central and Southern Province, 4511 West Pine Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63108.
