Become a Jesuit

Come and See Weekend

We invite young men considering a Jesuit vocation to join us for a discernment weekend April 5-7, 2024, in St. Louis, Missouri. Learn more about Jesuit ministries, communal life and spirituality.

  • Hear presentations from Jesuits working in various apostolates and deepen your understanding of the mission of the Society of Jesus as incarnated in different ministries.
  • Glimpse Jesuit communal life by participating in prayer, meals and social time with the Jesuit scholastics and brothers at the Bellarmine House of Studies next to St. Louis University.
  • Pray in silence, including guided meditations based on the methods outlined in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola.

Accommodations are provided and there is no cost to attend.

To register or for more information, email Fr. Joseph Hill, SJ, at UCSVocationCoordinator@jesuits.org

Days of Reflection

We host days of reflection for discerners throughout the year in cities around the province. These are opportunities for our discerners to visit a local community for conversation, prayer, Mass and a meal.

Please watch this page for updates to find a location near you, or contact the UCS Province Vocation Coordinator at UCSVocationCoordinator@jesuits.org

Feel free to share this information with others who may be discerning a possible future as a Jesuit priest or brother.

Please visit www.BeAJesuit.org for more information about the call to life as a Jesuit and the process of formation.
