Come and See
Take the next step in your discernment with the Jesuits of the USA Central and Southern Province. Experience Jesuit life and spirituality as you deepen your understanding of the mission of the Society of Jesus as it is lived out in our ministries.
- Meet Jesuits active in our apostolates
- Glimpse Jesuit community life as you participate in prayers, meals and social time with Jesuit scholastics and brothers
- Pray in silence and in community, including through guided Ignatian meditations
- Attend priestly ordination and vow Masses and celebrate these significant moments with us.
This weekend for young men interested in a Jesuit vocation is free and accommodations will be provided.

10-Day Jesuit Immersion
June 4-11, 2026 in St. Louis
Jesuit Immersion offers a first-hand experience of the life, work, and prayer of the Jesuits. Participants will live in a Jesuit community while they experience a three-day silent retreat, two days of apostolic ministry and two days of academic study. The program concludes with attendance at the Ordination Come & See weekend.
Wilderness Discernment Retreat in Wyoming
June 30 – July 7, 2026
Join fellow discerners in Pinedale, WY, for a week of backcountry camping, backpacking and hiking. We will have opportunities for prayer and spiritual conversation as we encounter the beauty and challenges of the wilderness.
Belize Mission Trip
July 18-25, 2026
Be part of a Jesuit mission team to offer catechesis and summer camp activities to young children in a rural Belizean village.
Days of Reflection
We host days of reflection for discerners throughout the year in cities around the province. These are opportunities for our discerners to visit a local community for conversation, prayer, Mass and a meal.
